Insanity Max 30 vs T25

I'm starting Insanity Max 30 in 2 weeks after I complete Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. I'm excited about getting started, but have heard it's not for beginners. I want something challenging and I'm not a beginner (JMBR was not easy though I was able to complete most moves) but am I really right to discount T25? I've read some reviews which have said it's way too easy but on the other hand others seem to love it.
What do people think?

I think you'll be fine going straight to Max 30 since you are going from one work out and not from scratch.
I've done t25 but not Gamma and I'm on month 2 of Max30.
I kind of wish I went back and did t25 again (I did it a year ago) before starting max30.
It's a good way to work to Max 30 which I Freaking LOVE!!! The cardio challenge is your fit test and will should your capabilities.
Either way. If you love a challenge it's an amazing work out. I find myself swearing at Shaun T quite a bit though.0 -
Ok will bear that in mind! Maybe if/when I complete Max 30 I'll go back and do T25 Gamma. My main concern with Max 30 is doing a program without weights as some reviews said it was lacking a little in upper body/arms and JMBR which I've been doing uses weights 4 days a week. I've just got some slightly heavier weights so I might add in 1 day of upper body on my 'off' day and I know that some people do hybrids and have read reviews by people who have done 3 days of weight training alongside Max 30 but I think that might be a bit too much for me!0

To quote Shaun T. "We don't lift weights in this gym! We lift ourselves!" Haha while doing tricep dips and me crying at the same time. Haha. I love the no weights it's a nice break. Though lifting my weight. I'll take 10 pound weights please! Haha. It's a good challenge. I think you'll like it0 -
Thanks, I think I've changed my mind now though and will do Max 30 after T25. I thought it might be a bit too easy but have been watching some of the videos and it looks quite good and as I've got some new weights up to 22lbs I can now do 4-22lbs and have about 7 different sizes so I can make the workouts harder and and hopefully see better results. I am gonna do Alpha, Beta and Gamma which should be 14 weeks but it says there's a modifier where you can start Gamma 2 weeks early making it 12 weeks so that will take me to 21st June. Hopefully I will have dropped a lot of the weight I want to by then and I can then use Max 30 to drop the last few pounds but it will be really hot here from June-October so I'll have to see how I cope with it in the heat!0

I'm finished week two of alpha. It was amazing, I'm having to follow Tonya some of the time the ab workout is the hardest for me. I feel like I do to much complaining during the whole workout! I can't wait until my core is stronger!0

Sounds great! I'm thinking of doing P90X3 alongside T25 so I'll either do one in the morning and one in the evening or I'll do them back to back. Not sure if I'll manage it but want to give it a go!0

I completed Insanity a few years back and then bought T25...hated T25. I just couldn't get into it for some reason. I'm starting Insanity Max 30 now and loving it. It's brutal though!!0

I finally decided on P90X3 and T25 doubles and I'm starting tomorrow so will let you know how I get on!0
