I just got the The Complete Running Book from Runner's World. I'm soaking up any information on running and racing that I can get.

The Runner's Diet from Runner's World is good
  • Dr. George Sheehan on Running and What I Talk About When I Talk about Running by Murakami. Both were amazing. A bunch of others, but none stuck with me like those two.

What I Talk About When I Talk about Running by Murakami - really wish I'd read it sooner!

Born to Run by Christopher McDougall was great, Galloway's half marathon, you can do it book was nice as well. Right now I'm reading Eat and Run: My Unlikely Journey to Ultramarathon Greatness by Scott Jurek and I'm really enjoying it.

Kathrine Switzer's book is phenomenal. Especially if you are a woman. Gives perspective of how things were 50 years ago.
