I just started last Tuesday and so far I really love it. I was even able to stick to it today - a Saturday. That's a miracle, normally I can't stick to anything on the weekends. I saw the infomercial last year and I thought, oh boy I really don't want to buy yet another program. Then I found a site that you can just buy the cups on. I bought them and both my husband and I were literally shocked at the sizes. Obviously our portions are way out of control. I was annoyed so I tossed them in the cupboard for the last 6 months while I tried other things like fasting, calorie counting, etc. Then this week for some reason out of the blue I thought I'm going to try that for one day. I'm hooked! It's been a long time since I've been hooked on anything. And to my surprise those cups actually hold a lot of food! This morning I got up and went ahead and ordered the program so I can get the work outs and better information on how to do the program than what I am able to find for free on the web. I don't plan to buy the Shakeology. I just bought a good quality protein powder and it's working great especially after I discovered replacing the water or milk for 8 oz. of fresh brewed black coffee. If you're a coffee drinker, try it with a vanilla or chocolate protein powder. It's super yummy!!!

Hey there, @LettingTheSmallStuffGo. Like you I'm not doing Shakeology. Have you tried making your protein shake with unsweetened almond milk? It will cost you one yellow container but it will make your drink even more creamy without adding many calories and it will add even more protein. I made some coffee and put it in the refrigerator to make myself some with coffee this week. In the eating guide, Autumn also suggests using Chai tea. If you love Chai lattes, you'll love it.0

Hello! I just started (sort of) last Wednesday. I've ordered the program with the containers and DVDs, but while I wait for it to arrive I'm following the eating plan (I was able to piece it together with information I found online). So far so good! Of course it's always a challenge to not just stuff whatever I want in my mouth, but overall I'm really satisfied with the amount of food. And I love that I'm eating SO healthy. I exercise every day now (either a 30-45 minute dog walk and/or 1.5 hour yoga class) but I'm still a little nervous for the DVD workouts - they sound really intense! But I'm going to do my best. Glad I found this group to share ideas and support.0

I started today. My thighs are on fire. My challenges are eating enough of the red group and all the water to drink. I drink a ton to begin with and never had a problem with water but now it's really a lot.0

@jpkrueger I was nervous at first because I have two conditions that make some exercising difficult. The first week, I simply followed the modifications and didn't use weights. I figured, if I wanted/needed weights, I could add them the second week. I've noticed other people doing the same thing to sort of ease into the routine and see what they can/cannot do. I would recommend trying that. Sure you may not lose as much as you would if you just jump in with weights and all but, if you're like me, you'll still lose something.
@jen973 For me the challenge was the purple containers. I like fruit but it's not my favorite thing to eat. You might try getting a protein shake. That's a simple way to add a red container without sitting down and eating more food.0 -
Thanks @satiarenee, helpful advice! Just got the notification that my package is "out for delivery" so looks like I'll be doing DVD#1 tonight. Eek!0

@jpkrueger You'll have to let us know what you think of the workouts. I haven't gotten bored, which is a good thing. I plan on doing a second round starting the 6th. Fingers crossed, you'll enjoy it as much as some of us have been!0
