Wow. Im shocked this board hasn't been created yet. I really need to crack down and get back into working out. I have been maintaining this whole challenge rather then losing what I wanted. My eating hasn't really changed but I know the weather has been effecting my workouts.
This weeks goals:
1. Restart c25k
2. Get to bed at a reasonable time
3. Follow my preplanned dinners

I woke up around 5 and meant to do it then, but got sidetracked! I am definitely not making my goal this challenge, but my head has not been in it. I am finally happy with my workouts again, but I've been going over my calories and eating foods that I can't really track well too much (lunch and dinner on Friday, dinner on Saturday, lunch on Sunday, go me!). The goal this week is try to be more rigorous in my logging (and try to minimize hard to log things, although I can't be perfect there) to figure out if my calories are right or not. For a while my exercise schedule was too up and down, but I've made it more consistent and also gone back to lowering my calories on rest days (or super light workout days), so that should help.
Other goals this week:
(1) Get good sleep
(2) Bring lunch most days
(3) Manage at least 2 first-thing-in-the-morning workouts
(4) Get back in the pool0 -
I worked out hard today, I find myself doing more and more, I am more flexible, jump higher and lift more too!
This week my goals are to get that water in,
Get another power class in this week!0 -
I think I am on a mission to gain weight. Bummed to be up some... I know what you mean, Stephanie, about hard-to-log eating. I find it sometimes so time consuming to sit at the computer trying to find every little ingredient used in a meal.
I've been quite unfocused lately. My goals this week are to get in five 60-minute workouts on the days I don't wait tables. On Friday and Saturday when I do work in the café, I really do hustle most of the time and rarely if ever sit for a minute. I also usually get in some yard work on Sat, so while I am not formally counting those "workouts," I do give myself a little pat on the back for at least being active. My other goal is to get back to drinking a gallon of water a day - seems to really help me, though not reaching that water goal today. Oh well, I will step that up tomorrow.
Best of luck to everyone in reaching your goals for the week!0 -
My goal for this week is to loose 1.5 pounds by
1. Drinking water
2. Exercising everyday
3. Staying within calorie range

So two days in a row I've made lunch the night before, yet walked out of the house without it. I've managed to catch myself both times before going too far, but it's annoying. I need to get in a habit of putting it in my bag.
Today I also screwed up because it's an excellent post workout lunch and I decided mid morning to either workout later than lunch hour or take today as a rest day, so am going to save the lunch I went back to grab for tomorrow. I feel like a bumbling idiot!0 -
Seems like I finally have the daily walking gene again! LOL. Not as long/far as I want but at least I'm doing it. Such a long winter. It took me 4 months to lose 10 pounds. Yikes. I sure would like to lose a pound a week again, for a few months. Walking really helps me lose. So, I probably won't make my 5 pound goal this Easter challenge but I'm optimistic I may do it the following challenge. I'm really thankful for these spreadsheet challenges!!

I have been working out like crazy! Completed a workout challenge doing
80 jumping jacks
20 push-ups
40 sit-ups
50 squats
20 lunges per leg
60 second wall squat.
That wall squat was rough, I had to add more to the sit-ups as that is easy for me so I did bicycle sit-ups, regular sit-ups and a plank for 60.
Last night I did Barre fitness. Great way to gain flexibility and get strong legs. Then I do Zumba, we have a blast in that class. The teacher is amazing, she has so much energy and she is 50, Great person.
Tonight I do kick boxing, it is a Group Kick class we don't kick anyone just the air... but it is a really good class, 80 jumping jacks was a peice o cake because of that class.

Way to go, sodakat! I know I'm still walking less on a daily basis than I was in the summer and fall, and I need to get back to it. (It's easier to ignore without my Fitbit too, sigh--I need to call about that already.)
Great workouts, Janelle! I was seriously thinking of going to a kickboxing class at my gym yesterday before work went nuts, and I really do want to try both that and a barre class soon.0 -
Beautiful, I'm jealous. And great ride! I can't wait until outdoor riding is pleasant here again.0
-
Love the pic. That reminds me I need to get my bike a tune up and also get the flat fixed so I can ride once the weather gets warmer0
-
I need a new helmet if I'm gonna ride outside of my neighborhood. And yes, waiting for the weather to be nice for outdoor riding!0

It actually looks like next week may allow for some bike commuting. Fingers crossed! (Stupidly cold today.)0
-
Rode 5 miles in rain and 20mph wind to make it to 400 miles ytd.but not cold....
Hoping to get on track calorie wise...it is amazing how many calories I can consume if eating mindlessly! Only two days under net calories last week resulting in weight gain.....worked hard this weekend to pre log food.
( work 12hour shift on weekends) but did sneak in after work walk doing uphill ramps in the parking garage before driving home...

Beautiful! I keep saying this (and more in the thread for this week's goals), but I think I've finally decided to lose some more weight and stop toying with doing maintenance for a while/building muscle. The fluctuations are driving me mad when there's no downward trend accompanying them.0
