Please help me understand logging exercise

I did Zumba today for the second time. I clocked it with "workout" on my fitbit surge. It gave me 58 minutes; 250 calories; 2 miles, HR average 108 (pathetic, I know, but I didn't know the steps). I only used the fitbit. It looks like it gave me the 250 calories on MFP already, although it only says "steps". So, my questions are:
Should I add "Aerobics, low impact" to MFP, too? Or would that give me double calories? (Because MFP tells us to only add food and exercise to MFP.)
Which exercise on MFP do you log Zumba and hard dancing, like Dance Fitness under?
Also, I take aqua fit 3 times a week, twice a week she works us pretty hard, but Wednesdays, she really kicks our butt with tobata/kickboxing. What would I log them under? I have to log that with MFP, because sadly my fitbit is not
I have only been letting fitbit give calories on step-based exercises, so i do not add walking to MFP. I only add non step based activity like aquafit to MFP. Is that right?

Read the FAQ to answer all those questions - sticky in this group for easy finding.

water jogging and water aerobics is in Fitbit database, and FAQ will explain why that is better option.0 -
Thank you for responding. I really appreciate it alot. And thanks for the hard work of putting all of that info together. I did try to read all of that before, but honestly, for me, it was information overload. I can't even find an exercise database for fitbit that is not coming from MFP. All I have found is run, walk, elliptical, workout, etc. I'll try reading it again, but I'm not sure I'll ever get it :-)0

It's not on the device, right, it's on their website, or app.
You starting typing the type of exercise, and it'll provide suggestions to use.
Then like MFP, you provide start and duration time, calorie burn if known or distance and pace if not, and it'll do the calories for you.
The icons you can click on to start the process is merely for convenience of most used, but same database.
Reread just the questions in the FAQ that apply right now, knowing others are there if needed.0 -
Thank you. I did re-read it and understood more :-)0
