3 Day Quick Fix

So I was rereading the 3 Day Quick Fix booklet, pondering whether or not I would do it again when I do round 2 of 21DF and I noticed this:

. . . we also suggest integrating it into the end of your 21 Day Fix, starting with Day 19 . . . .

Tomorrow is my day 19 and I mentioned it to my husband, that this is in the booklet. So tonight he's grilling up some chicken for me and tomorrow I'll be back to doing the 3 Day Quick Fix. I didn't find it nearly as challenging as I thought I would when I did it at the beginning of 21DF. The hardest part for me was remembering to eat as often as required. Six times! But I committed to doing this and I have everything I need to finish out my first round of 21 Day Fix with a bang!

Has anyone else here done the 3 Day Quick Fix?

I will be starting on Monday - and probably doing the last three days with the quick fix. My concern is - I hate hate hate all fish - would it be ok to substitute chicken/turkey?

@dkwi04‌ Do you have a team beachbody quote? If not, I can ask mine. No problem. She's awesome!

Not sure why I typed "quote" when I mean "coach" but I hope you understood. I'll talk with my coach and see what her response is.

Heard from my coach. Yes. You can substitute more chicken and lean ground turkey! :D

Hi everyone, started the 3-day Quick Fix today. Wouldn't normally consider it so early in my journey but I'm leaving for vacation on Monday so I figured I might as well try an extra push over the weekend. I have to get into a bathing suit next week, yikes!!

So far I've just had breakfast, which was 8 egg whites (that is a LOT of egg whites, didn't love that) and a yellow container of steel-cut oats (yummy). You also have to drink 1 tsp extra virgin coconut oil with 4 of the meals, which sounded totally disgusting to me (especially because I detest coconut). But it was surprisingly good and didn't taste like what I know as coconut at all!

Don't think I'll be in the mood for grilled chicken and steamed veggies in 1.5 hours but hey, it's just 3 days, I can do it, right?

@jpkrueger‌ The first time I did it, I was surprised about how tasteless the coconut oil is too! Definitely a pleasant surprise. Egg whites are bland, boring, bleh. I would encourage using herbs and spices to make them a little more palatable. It helped me through.

I took a nap today (much needed as I haven't been sleeping very well) and slept through my lunch (meal3) so I may end up skipping one meal today. Oops.

Made it through day 1. Pretty much had to force down the last meal, which is not a typical experience for me haha. Overall it was a day of boring eating but hey, I can do anything for 3 days, right? The regular program is going to be a treat after this! I miss cheese....and my daily treat of peanut butter and almond butter.

@jpkrueger‌ I do miss my cheese. That little blue container is not enough for me. I'm greedy. LOL! And every day I save my 2 tsps and enjoy some peanut butter. It feels so decadent and wonderful. But when I was doing the 3 Day Quick Fix, the thing I missed most is raw vegetables. I just really wanted a salad!

OMG me too- it's going to feel almost decadent when I can eat a salad on Monday!

Hi everyone. I am new here and just got 21 day fix. I am a bit overwhelmed and wonder how you track on mfp?

@Noahlonie‌ If you have a heart rate monitor, that is really the best way to calculate calories burned. However, if you do not, this website (http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc) seems to be the one that is recommended most often by other MFPers.

    Do you mean food?

I haven't started yet - tomorrow is my day one. But I have done some prep and although you don't HAVE to track calories with the containers, im curious so I'll do it both ways. Plus my husband sometimes uses my calorie calculations for his diary.
