Good morning!

I'm back down to my pre-Easter weight today! Was up 3lbs on Monday morning, obviously water weight, but it's still nice to see my lower weight pop up again.

I hit my goals yesterday. It was a tough day. My father-in-law is critically ill and in the hospital, so its just very stressful and emotional right now. Sticking to my habits helps give me some stability through this time.

Goals for today:
1. stay within calories
2. 10,000 steps
3. Rest Day!

    Good morning everyone!!!
I'm sorry to hear about your father-in-law, SongRunTing, I send my best to him and all the family!
Throughout this journey of mine I realized that problems make me grow. Every bump in the road turned into a major growth spurt and an amzing learning experience. Lately, I have been concerned with my energy levels, mostly my desire to nap during the day. For this reason I upped my calories since last week, tried to release some of the dieting stress from my body in order to reach a temporary homeostasis. In trying to solve this problem, I have done my research, while trying the identify my mistakes in order to correct them. Funny how wrong I was....
The guilt feeling I had towards my naps changed once again into admiration towards the human body. I wasn't tired and napping because I did something wrong, I was tired and napping because I did all the right things. Just like a child, when you're growing and expending your world of possibilities, your brain needs extra time to process and grow. The naps were not telling me I'm failing : they were proving that I'm succeeding !!!
Another lesson learned in this journey! Our bodies always know best and it's ok to give them what they need :)
    Have a fabulous day everyone!!!

Sending my best to your family SingRunTing. Its hard to stay focused in stressful situations, those ones are my downfall.
Danelutuza you are always searching and finding new ways to succeed, my hat is off to you and your focus.
Had a terrible day yesterday, no exercise, had uncontrollable cravings and nothing satisfied me. So I ate bits and pieces of everything trying to find what it was I was looking for, but never did find it. Just ended up feeling bloated and yucky, and still cranky lol
Today I am doing better, hit the treadmill at 5, had eggs for breakfast and protein bar for a snack. If I can stay on track and eat decently the remainder of the day and get some exercise in tonight I will feel I accomplished something.
Trying to take it easy on myself, coming off vacation and the extra pounds I want to lose and some stress with my son. One thing at a time.
Have a happy hump day..week is half over!! :)

I met yesterday's goals and today has been a good day so far.
Yesterday I mentioned I had joined a Fitbit challenge...well, I think I am competing with a bunch of runners because I am gettin smoked! That's even with me getting 12,000 plus steps the last two days...

Anyway, I've decided it doesn't matter if I'm at the bottom because this challenge has caused me to up my step goal, and move more, so that in it's self makes it worth it.

Because I am more aware of my steps, I decided to walk around the gym during my class's recess. I usually sit and watch them run around. I ended up walking a mile then, and during my class's spanish class, I went back and got another mile in! I can't walk tonight because of a class I have so I am thrilled to have gotten in the exercise already. I want to try to make this a habit and move more!

    Today's goals:
    1. 10,000 steps
    2. Push up/ crunch challenge (day 2)
    3. 5 min yoga
    4. Stay under calories

Sorry about your father-in-law, SingRunTing--that's difficult.

My goals are to get my workouts in, especially a morning workout (done), finally eat the lunch I brought to work, and to just try to get back to normal with the eating and staying within my calories.
