Good morning! I hope everyone had a good weekend.

To be honest, my weekend was terrible. We got called to the hospital on Saturday morning for my sick FIL. His prognosis isn't very positive right now and the roller coaster of him doing better, then crashing, then doing better, then crashing again is just draining. We didn't get home until late last night and I'm just exhausted.

I tried to stick to my calories this weekend, but I was really guesstimating for the most part. I did not hit my exercise or step goals. Since we're home for now, I'm hoping to get started on a new training schedule today. I'm starting a beginner triathlon training schedule. I'm not planning on participating in one (as of now), but I enjoy having the extra cross training. Also, Mr. Ting really wants to train with me (he's already a triathlete) and asked if we could start today. I think he's just trying to distract himself.

Goals for today:
1. stay within calories
2. 10,000 steps
3. 20 min run & yoga

So sorry to hear about your family's issues SingRunTing. It's always stressful when a loved one is ill. You can only handle so many balls in the air, so if you are guesstimating and still staying active, you are doing very well. Wishing you all the best in these tough times. Stress always put me out of whack. I have had a family situation as well the past week and my eating and exercise has reflected it.

    Todays goals:
    eat within calories
eat only what prepared, measured and packed for work today
    drink water
20 min brisk walk before work - complete
Get at least a 20 min workout of some type this evening

    Happy Monday everyone.

I'm sorry to hear about your father in law SingRunTing. That is always stressful but it is great that you are still paying attention to what you eat and exercising. Hang in there!

This weekend was long but it was relaxing. It is the first weekend I haven't had church early both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Today will be a long day at school and I am looking forward to heading to the gym straight from school.

    Goals for today:
    1. Stay within calories.
    2. 8,000 to 10,000 steps.
    3. Go to gym straight after school.
    4. Continue plowing through my government project.

    So sorry, SingRunTing.

My weekend was up and down, although not due to anything too difficult. Had a wonderful long run on Saturday (lovely weather) and had plans with friends all day, which was fun but in the back of my mind was everything I had to do that weekend, and then Sunday I was at work all day but couldn't focus and wasted too much time and ate all sorts of stupid stuff, sigh. Also no workout. Had a nice (late) dinner and Game of Thrones is recorded for whenever I have time, however!

Going to make today (and this week) simple:
    1. Stay within my calories.
    2. No snacking.
    3. Get in my planned workout.

    Good afternoon everyone!

SingRunTing hang in there during these hard times, I hope your father-in-law recovers fully!

We celebrated Easter this weekend and all I can say is that I abused my oven, my sink and my tummy.
Yesterday I also heard back from the trainer that did my Bodyfat test and the results were fantastic and much better than expected. In October of last year I was 202lb and 38% bodyfat. This time I was 187lb and 30% bodyfat. The most amazing thing is that while eating a caloric deficit my leanbodymass went from 125.5lb to 129.8lb. Fat went from 76.9lb down to 57.1lb. Somebody get me some tape because I'm getting ripped over here, lol I couldn't help myself ...
Today started of great, my long Monday home workout was hard and sweaty. Hitting the gym later this afternoon!
Have a fabulous day everyone and feed your bodies right!!!
