I am about to upgrade from a ONE to an HR. For those who use the machines at the gym that calculate calories... I am wondering how the calories given on the machines match up with the HR.

They seem to because you enter your weight on them. The HR already knows this, it works out how hard your working by your heart rate. Start the stopwatch and end when you finish an activity. You can later label on your app each activity you did for each one. I have found that the HR calculation to be within 10 calories of what the gym equipment says.
