Hello everyone!
I assume everyone of us loves food. And this is totally a selfish post but I guess it will help many fellow foodies and travelers ( I am not so old in this place, foody and loves to travel) so lets keep aside the calories for a while and why not share the good places around your area to eat or you have been to in Northeast USA and will recommend!
All the best and stay motivated :)

In Connecticut, lobster rolls are served on a split-top bun with butter. Mayo = lobster salad, not lobster roll. And chowder should be thin, with just a touch of milk—never, ever gloopy. My favorite chowder is Lenny & Joe's Fish Tale: http://ljfishtale.com

In New Haven, pizza is paper-thin. My favorite is BAR white pie with shrimp & fresh basil or white pie with mashed potatoes: http://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/columnist/greatamericanbites/2014/03/06/bar-mashed-potato-pizza-new-haven/6083023/

I'm CT-grown as well and I second either of those choices at BAR. So delicious! But- my favorite New Haven pizza is Modern and don't even talk to me about Sally's because I'm a Pepe's fan.

Steamed cheeseburgers are a CT thing, and Ted's in Meriden has the best! They have a steamed grilled chicken sandwich as well that's a little more waistline-friendly and also so so good.

If you're in Middletown you MUST stop at NoRA cupcake.

I could go on all day, really. I'm too much of a foodie for my own good :/
