June, thanks for getting us started this week. Love your photo!
Barb, what a neat photo for your vacation week! I hope you enjoy yourself and reach your goals.
Sassy, you have put a lot of thought into your goals. They are well rounded. What a good goal about the Little League moms. I bet that is real hard dealing with those moms.0 -
My goals for this week are:
1. Gym 4x
2. Stay under 1500 calories 7x
3. Eat 2 or less, preferably 1 and some days none- Quest Bars 5x
4. Increase my mileage to 10+ this week.
5. Think of the important reasons why I need to eat healthy and lose weight. 6x0 -
I definitely need to set some goals and stick with them! I wasn't too good this weekend. I didn't track anything and ate what I wanted in most cases.
This week my goals are:
1. Drink plenty of water (don't have anything else in house so should be easy to do)
2. Track my food every day this week
3. Try not to have to use any of the extra WW points this week
4. Do some form of physical activity at least 30 minutes each day0 -
I didn't meet all my goals last week but this is a new week so time to try again.
1. drink 10 glasses of water a day
2. preplan my meals and try and prep them before hand to make it easier
3. watch my portion sizes (they are getting a little bigger then I want and have been at)
4. get in a least 12 miles between the rescue and just getting outside to enjoy this weather
Also I am thinking of trying the 21 day fix. Has anyone tried that before or heard any feedback on it? Im thinking of starting it the beginning of May if possible

Goals this week:
(1) Track my sleep all week (I need to commit to getting more sleep, but this is a stop).
(2) No unplanned snacks (did well at this until Sunday last week, and am struggling today--and it's because I'm tired, I know).
(3) Stay within my calories (I think I need to lower my calories, but I need a few weeks of following them consistently to say for sure)
(4) Have the courage to aim for my time goal in my half marathon on Saturday.0 -
I Think trying to reach 8,000 steps a day is going to be tough if i go by monday 6,6661.
but i did 4 mile on my bike.
Today i'm on a mission

My exercise goal is to cycle at least 56 miles this week, three more than last week. Also working on water - aiming for 1 gallon most days, at least a half on days at the cafe, but fell short of that goal yesterday. Will try to pick up my slack. And, sigh, to get back to logging my food faithfully - just cannot seem to stay fully on track there. At least I am maintaining what seems to be a good weight for me.0

My goals this week include
1)walking/running 18 miles
2)staying at or under my calories everyday
3)actually see the number on the scale go down this week instead of up like it has been doing
4) Lay off sweets (I.e. cookies, candy, cake, soda, ice cream) I have gone way overboard the last several weeks so I just need to give it a rest.0 -
Agghhh..... Sidelined by illness since Sunday... Couch bound..... (Headed to get antibiotics today)... But mid week update..... Lost 2 pounds ( was stalled for two weeks) And at fancy restaurant at business meeting last night and declined dessert.... Free dessert.... Figured one bite or two does throw me off... So one daily victory..... And with absolutely no exercise realizing that i eat too many calories....0

Something of a disaster of a week so far. I'm struggling with some stuff I have to write for work and falling into my usual screw around, get no sleep, eat stupid stuff mode.
Feel better today, so let's see--I will say that I've improved a lot in that I have some perspective on it and can think, eh, worst case I'll get back to it in a week and just do my best for now, and also because I can manage to get in some exercise.
After 2 days:
(1) Track my sleep all week (I need to commit to getting more sleep, but this is a stop).
6 hours and then 5. Not great, but better than Sunday night.
(2) No unplanned snacks (did well at this until Sunday last week, and am struggling today--and it's because I'm tired, I know).
Started both days doing much better and then fell apart in one way or another. Have planned a bit better for today, including bringing dinner if necessary, so I'll see.
(3) Stay within my calories (I think I need to lower my calories, but I need a few weeks of following them consistently to say for sure)
Don't know. Think I was around my limit, but could have been over, and that's the problem with stuff that's hard to track.
(4) Have the courage to aim for my time goal in my half marathon on Saturday.
Still excited about this one! As I reported on my feed, I found out at the last minute that a friend of mine was running Boston (and finished in under 3:30!) so that's inspiration.
