With the new Avengers film finally out soon (Going to see it tonight, very excited!).....what is everyone's number one thing they would love to see happen in the second Avengers outing?

For me, I'd love to see them pull the ultimate surprise and introduce The Punisher because....
He's such an important part of the Civil War comic, I would hate to see him left out of the MCU. I also think the potential for the character to fit in to the current landscape is huge.

The one thing I wouldn't like to see is more Loki. I know everyone loves him, but I just think he's getting to be a tired and rehashed villain/anti-hero now, even after three films. With him already confirmed for the next Thor, I'd like him to stay away from this film and let Thor shine on his own for a change!

What have you lot got on your wish list?

I just hope for a lot of awesome action scenes that are with the individual characters, not so much with like ship to ship fighting and the like. GIVE ME MORE PERSONAL COMBAT!

I'm trying not to set myself up so much character development wise because of the changes they've already made. I can agree with the Loki sentiment, I do like him, but he's got a solid sneaky place to hang at, let him do some background manuvering this round.

As far as I know, Loki might be in one scene, if at all.

Jealous though because I have to wait until April 30th to see it here.

It was everything I hoped it would be, apart from the whole Punisher surprise, but that was always going to be shooting for the moon.

Some very minor things annoyed me like....very, very mild spoiler ahead....
They don't deal with the fact that Tony left the Iron Man suit/persona behind in Iron Man 3. I mean, I wasn't expecting it to be a major plot point, but at least mention it. Tell us why he couldn't stay away from it, or felt like he had to come back. Don't just treat a character development point like it never happened!!

There were other minor things, but more than made up for by the excellent dialogue, character work, the action scenes (Afura, you will be happy!!) and the fact that it's ALL of The Avengers currently in the MCU!

Hope that whenever you get to see it, you enjoy...I'll definitely be going to see it again!!

No, you don't actually see him. That's not to say he's not in it in some way though ;)

I read a review yesterday and they had said the beginning was awesome, but the rest was not that great, so I'm glad to get a review that says it's great. I can see what you mean in your spoiler comment, I wonder if it was one of those things that got cut that would have given more depth. I'm going to try and catch an early Sunday showing (so it's not so flippin crowded!).

I envy people outside of the US who get to see it early. I think we're going on Friday. I don't follow the comics closely, but do often look online to see the feedback on accuracy or get hints on who's important to which story line, etc. I have read that Spiderman will be in Civil War (or at least introduced). Wonder if that leaves room for Punisher?
Eh, either way, I love the Marvel movies so I'm excited to go see it.

Netflix and Marvel are rumored to be working on a Punisher series.

Seeing it tonight after work, 10:30pm showing with my daughter (I think I am getting too old for this sort of thing, at least during the school year!). We are both looking forward to it!

I really liked it! I think I still like the first one better, but this definitely is my second favorite of all the Marvel movies so far.

Agreed there... that was kinda weird. I'm guessing it might have been in the hour that they had to cut from the movies though, so maybe on blu-ray when it's released.

    Laser?

Ok I went to see it again with my kids and husband, really noticed a few disappointing things about it, to be honest.

It's the same pattern as the last movie really. Some action, then the villain takes off with something, then the Avengers meet somewhere, then they go fight the Villain somewhere else and something bad happens, then they meet and end up fighting with each other, at some point Nick Fury comes when they are down and tries to boost up morale, then it's a big fight against the villain and a lot of minions.

A lot of people didn't like Ultron and didn't find him worthy, I thought he was pretty awesome though. LOVE James Spader. But I agree with some reviews saying that there was too much going on though and that all the attempts to keep it connected to the rest of the Universe made the movie seem too busy and disconnected at times (with the Thor sequences, for example). Also I didn't quite get how what Thor saw in his dream made him want to finish the Vision. You would have thought he would have wanted it destroyed and the stone kept away in a safe place.

Either way, I can't wait to see the extra scenes and the extended version on the blu-ray if it makes the cut (supposedly Amazon UK says there is one).

But all in all, still a very good movie, still liked the first one better.

Not about the movie but about the toys and merchandise released for the movie. Really Disney/Marvel? I mean really? -_- I don't have any kids of my own but know plenty of people that do and that also have little girls that love Marvel and this is rather despressing.

Yeah there's quite a bit of annoyed people on twitter about the lack of Black Widow/Scarlet Witch toys. Heck even Mark Ruffalo was tweeting #whereisNatacha. It's sad. My daughter is not happy.
