Anyone running the mini? It'll be my first time and I'm a bit nervous.

Thanks! I've heard that the crowd and the entertainment along the way are great. How many times have you done the mini?

This will be my second. I am going to try to best my time but haven't been able to run as much as I wanted this year.

How did everyone do? I am very sad I missed it but I had other obligations. I was with you in spirit! :)

So, I'd really like to do the mini someday... does everyone run it all or do some people do a combo of run/walk or what? (I'd like to run it all, but the farthest I've yet run in one go is 6 mi or so..)

It was a blast! I already signed up for next year's race. :) I had originally intended to walk the whole thing, which a decent number of people do. I completed a mini training program through the Baxter Y and was able to run about half of it (run/walk intervals). My goal is to run all of the Indy monumental half in November.

Hi. Yes, You can run it, walk it or combination of both. It is so much fun! I got pretty sore this time, but I know what to do differently. I also signed up for the Monumental half.
