I have a friend who just joined NS and lost 7 pounds the first week!
I have also encouraged her to join MFP and this group.
How do I send her an invite for this group?

    I think only the owner of the group can send invites. But you can give her the link to the group and she can click the Join This Group button. It will ask her why she wants to join, and she can put you as her reference.

    Or you can PM the owner to send the invite.
