Runner friends

Hi guys,
I just joined this group. I've been around MFP for two years now and my friends list definitely lacks runners. I'm looking for runner friends
Here's a little more about me. I'm Ben, 32, from Montréal, Canada. My mother tongue is French but I fluently speak English (duh). I'm a self-employed translator.
I've been running for three years, two years more seriously. I had hit a few PRs last summer but stopped cardio altogether in the cold months, then resumed in March. It took me four months to get back to my PR shape.
So I'm looking to improve my times, obviously. I run steadily 3-4 times per week, 5 or 10 km each time, sometimes at race-pace, sometimes at slow pace, sometimes in intervals. I focused on HM distance in the past but I switched to 10 km for this summer. I'm more of an intense guy. I'd rather semi-sprint for 45 minutes than run slower for 2 hours. Just a personal preference.
I'm currently registered for a few races, including Montreal's 10k with 6000 other runners. This is in less than three months. I hope to be amongst the top 150 in that event. I need to lower my PR a little to get there.
For the record, here at my PRs :
5 km - 23:49 (June 2015)
10 km - 47:50 (June 2015)
HM - 1:59:00 (August 2014)
Otherwise, besides running, I also play soccer/football on a weekly basis, for a team. I also go to the gym 3 to 5 times per week for weightlifting.
Add me I'm a supportive and active friends

And I pulled a muscle put myself out for 2 weeks.. Learning to run slower just became you can run mile in under 8 minutes doesn't meen you should well not on every run!! Have ran 2 10ks now my next one is tomorrow morning I will be running the boys beating cancer race as Captain Jack sparrow!!0

Anyone feel free to add me!! I am kind of a newbie to running ( 1 year and 8 months) but have ran 2 half marathons and hoping my schedule allows me to run a marathon soon!0

Just sent a befriend message to all of you above my post. I am 50 and from Vancouver currently training for a full marathon in September. It will be my first one...have done quite a few halfs, but have quickly realized that a full is not just double the distance...
Best of luck with your trainings.

You can add me if you'd like, I've been running for about 5 years now 1/2 and full marathons mostly. I'm laid up for the next 4-6 weeks though but will still be on here daily living on the road through others.0

I've been running for 8 years. The last 4 have been more serious with actual training and racing. My longest race distance is ~10 miles though I've trained up to a half. I'm working my way up to a marathon within the next 6 months. Feel free to add me here as well as Nike+ @jashire0
