Fitbit with Polar

Hello everyone!
I have a Fitbit Charge and yesterday I bought a Polar FT7 to get more precise data, since I do a class of cycling and some classes where I lay on the ground or jump around.
I'm wondering how to mix the data of the two devices, for example, yesterday I burned 2529 calories according to Fitbit, and then I added the 1550 calories I got from the Polar (through MyFitnessPall), since I used both devices at the same time, how much calories did I burn (more or less)?
I depend on the gym to get my steps, because even at 6pm, it's 104º outside and I don't feel like doing anything there. So keeping the Fitbit the locker is not something I want to do.
Thanks!

Do you have the charge HR? That has been awesome for me. It's replaced my Polar. So I still get the calorie burn even if stuff does not count towards my steps.

I would return the Charge and get the Charge HR—it's only, what $20 more? It has a heart rate monitor and a real buckle, rather than the clasp.

Only take off your Charge to shower or charge it, and log your Polar burns in MFP. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time, so you're never "double dipping" your burns.

Your Fitbit burn is TDEE. Enable negative calorie adjustments in your diary settings, and follow your MFP calorie goal.

To answer your question - that 2529 calories includes the 1550 calories already - as soon as you synced, that workout replaced whatever Fitbit originally saw for that time.

Now - I'm assuming the sync all worked correctly, you picked correct start and duration time, and you see a workout on Fitbit's site.

Your other question doesn't really make sense though.

How many calories did you burn (more or less) - doing what?

I'm guessing not the workout - since you know that because you entered it.

I'm thinking not for the day - because you just reported what Fitbit said you burned.

    But what's left?

Also - was yesterday the first day using the Fitbit - because if you have a 1550 cal workout time out of 2529 calories for the whole day - that's only about 1000 calories left - and I'm guessing you are taller than 3 ft and 90 yrs old.
