3-day Fix Question

I am doing to the 3DF today - Friday. I went to the grocery store at 11:25pm last night and did my food prep at 6:00am this morning before work because I'm a lunatic.

Did anyone do the 3-day Fix without the workouts? I haven't received the DVDs yet, and to be honest, I'm working all three days and my kids have activities and we're leaving for vacation on Friday, so it's really not in the cards. I'll probably go for a run tonight and on Friday.

I am trying to get my portions under control and also just get back into the habit of food prep & packing a lunch for work, so even without weight loss, it will be useful. But, I obviously want to lose weight.

Just wondering if anyone did just the nutrition plan w/o working out for the 3-day. The DVDs arrive on Saturday, so I'll be using the workouts during the 21DF.

I think you'll do well and, even without the workouts, you'll drop weight. I'd be surprised if you didn't. It's always worked for me even when my weight loss was stalled.

Thanks! I'm on Day 2 and getting a little bored! I'm looking forward to starting the 21DF, so I can get a little bit more variety in my diet. I'm introducing as much variety as possible with my proteins and veg but still really bored.

    Today, I had:
Steel-cut oats + 2 eggs (eff egg whites!)
93% lean ground beef scramble w/sweet potato
lean ground turkey scramble with Kick'n Chicken spices + steamed broccoli
lean ground turkey scramble with Kick'n Chicken spices + steamed broccoli
I'll probably have shrimp & green beans for dinner.

So, I've covered eggs, poultry, lean meat, and seafood for my proteins but still a little blah feeling. I also picked my first two Sun gold tomatoes from my garden this morning. Both fruits on Day 1 of the 21DF are going to be tomatoes! I know it's listed as a Green but I feel the nutritional profile of a tomato is much closer to a fruit (and it's *actually* a fruit!).

    Thanks for the encouragement!

There is just something about the 3 Day QF food that is so boring, no matter how I spice it up. But eating the regular Fix way always seems totally luxurious after the 3 Day, so that's a plus!!!
