No, Fitbit will just make a single adjustment to MFP, even if you specifically track the activity by itself on the Fitbit.

If you want activity to show on your newsfeed, you can still enter it on MFP... but be careful to have the correct starting time and length of activity because it will overwrite the Fitbit data during that time, assuming you have everything set up right.

Because that's how it works. If you want your Fitbit exercise to appear in your newsfeed, post a status update.

Do not log exercise in MFP—it overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time, and your Surge burn is TDEE.

If you want your workout to show in your feed, post a manual status update. That is better than entering the activity in MFP because it overwrites your Fitbit data for that time.

If you're happy to manually delete a duplicate entry each time you run, then it's possible to do.

The way I do it is to sync my Fitbit with my Strava account, and sync my strava account with MFP (You can use MapMyRun etc instead of Strava). Then when you finish a run, Fitbit uploads it to Strava and Strava uploads it to MFP. This step sounds annoying, but you only have to set it up once. After that, it's automatic.

The fiddly bit is that each run you do this way creates a duplicate exercise on your Fitbit. You then need to go and delete the duplicated entry on your Fitbit dashboard to avoid the overwriting issue that people have mentioned above.
