I lost about 10lbs in the first month I put together eating really right (for pcos- low carbs etc) and exercise about three - four times a week( working mum- it's the only time I got). This is my second month and my weight has hardly moved. Is anyone experiencing the same thing? Should I change my routine to confuse my body or it is still pcos my arch nemesis To blame ?

Are you losing inches? Has your body done any recomposition (did your fat move?)? I know that mine did. Basically, when my scale didn't change, my measurements did. And when neither of those changed, my body was reshaping. And when my measurements changed, my scale didn't. All three of these are factors you need to monitor on a lower carb diet. For me, I would lose in spurts - and still am. The key to low carb is consistency and patience. If you haven't done it 4-12 weeks WITHOUT ANY PROGRESS MARKERS in any of the THREE categories above, it is NOT time to mix things up, unless to start incorporating more movement into your routine.0

To give you a better idea of what I mean, these pictures are a 14 pound difference in 14 months. So, literally, 1 pound per month loss - looks like a ton more, thanks to low carbing it...0 -
I've been doing low carb-high fat for 3 months now and I've lost a total of 23lbs. It hasn't been a consistent loss tho. There are weeks where I literally lose nothing and nothing budges and then all the sudden I'm down 5lbs. I sometimes get discouraged thinking that my weight has stalled, but I keep eating well and doing what I'm supposed to and it comes off when it wants to lol! Stick with it!! You won't lose as quickly after the first few weeks, but you'll still lose as long as you stick to it! Good luck!0

Try not to think about the numbers on the scale. Have you taken your measurements? Remember you are working from the inside out. Although you may not see results they are happening inside you. Keep up the amazing work you are doing.0

Now that my weight has finally started shifting, this is what mine does. It's consistent in how it behaves, though, which is easier to handle mentally.
I've found that my weight drops in month-long cycles. For weeks 1-3, it will stay about the same (within a couple of pounds), then during week 4, it will drop 4-5 pounds pretty much overnight. From there, it will often go up a pound from the lowest weight I see and stay there until the next month.
This makes tweaking hard, but thankfully, things are good enough for now that I'm not arguing.0 -
I see monthly swings as well. I think it is a common thing. Weight loss is a slow game. You have to commit for the long haul!0

Not to mention that the slower you lose your weight, the easier it is to maintain your losses!0
