Hello!
Looking for a good seitan recipe. I used one for BBQ ribz and they were not as tender as I would like. Some recipes call for simmer some call for baking. Want your tried and true recipes thanks!

I simmered it being really careful not to bring to a boil and the consistency was good. It seemed very high in sodium, though. Next time would cut way back on the soy sauce and maybe 1/2 veg broth 1/2 water where it calls for the veggie broth. I really like the Uptown Naturals seitan http://www.uptonsnaturals.com/products/and the price isn't too bad. I have tried the ground and traditional. They have them at the Whole Foods here in the Dallas area. I will be following this post to see if anyone else has a good recipe. I love that stuff!0 -
