Good evening ladies. I really want to thank Mizzes April on the Black Women Losing Weight discussion today for setting this up.

I'm pumped to have help being held accountable. I know it's gonna be sort of a struggle for me as I tend to hate tracking things but hey, I'll make it work. Plus the apps counts macros and I am working towards doing that. Makes life way more easier.

Good luck to us all and out lifestyle change.

Hey TR. I too need accountability and always find it easier when you have someone checking in/up on you. Money always seems to motivate people the best but learning to live by your word only should be a bigger motivation.

I think we should ensure we install the FP app on our phones and check in via the app. Technology may energize someone to stay on track. I personally would prefer a text to motivate me because I check my texts more often than I'll click on an app. I think nowadays everyone has an iPhone and can make a group text and name it. If that's something others think will help let's shout out about it. Just a suggestion.

There are now several administrator to this group in case 1 person is out of pocket, someone else can be the motivator.

:: wave :: Evening - Thanks for starting the group! I need to start paying closer attention to food. The calculator on here for calories is pretty awesome. So hopefully having an active group, I'll be more likely to track while I'm in here chatting.

Hey Ladies! I've used this app on several attempts at staying on track and keeping up with what works and have always fell short. I've reached my goal on time and didn't stick with it because I didn't lose it the right way. I basically cleansed through it all as opposed to cleansing for the first couple of days. Anyhow, I'm back at it now, set a more realistic goal and excited to see what comes of it. Never had a group that I was actually active in within FP so this should be fun! I'm down with group chat

So what are you ladies doing now as far as eating and exercising.

So far I'm just counting calories. Well... I'm doing Macros, however, today I had a pop tart. lol. I'm still in calorie rand but not macro.

Exercise .. I have a regimen. I do weights and sbs MWF, maybe a 30 min walk or PIYO... cardio on TTS.

For most part I'm working out 4-5 days z week. I see that seems to be the way this whole exercising eating right thing works.

Hi Trhines, I also count calories and even add what I probably should not be eating. I work out twice a day 6days a week. I do cardio in the afternoon or morning when not at work and circuit training during the evening. I walk a good portion of my days everyday.

I just started with weights today. Was a intimidated by the men in the weights section. However, I know I have to get over that.

I just realized for the first time today that I should try to burn twice as many calories as I eat. Right?

Hi all. I just returned from Boston on vacation and of course momma fed me! I got back into the swing of things today. Thus far I've downed 6 glasses of water (4 w/a tsp vinegar and lemon)(2 with electrolyte powder). I had Cherrios with Fat Free Milk for breakfast, got in two pieces of fruit (a peach and an apple), and a tuna light pack. Salmon and strawberries is ready at home for dinner. I'll attempt to get some sit-ups in before bed, but that's where I really fall short. Between meetings, work and trying to finish up these last two undergrad classes....I'm beat.

The main ingredient in Mag 07 is magnesium. Magnesium is commonly packaged with other supplements, like Calcium, which may cause constipation. According to Aerobic Life literature, Mag 07 uses the power of oxygen to cleanse the body naturally. The supplement is said to release oxygen in an acidic environment – the stomach. Magnesium oxide is said to move through the digestive tract, intestine, bladder and kidneys releasing oxygen to cleanse all organs. Little of the magnesium is absorbed by the body, according to Aerobic Life. Mag 07 works over a 12+ hour period which gives a more gentle laxative effect.

How do you get notifications that someone posted?

I'm good. I did take a back seat for 2 days. Tracking can be tedious.

you should be able to update your setting on the mobile app so you can get notifications. or if you're logging onto the group you'll notice the group was updated by the word "new".

I've been trying to keep up with my tracking also. Im good during the work week. Weekends I may not do it the same day but I do remember what I ate so I can back and enter everything. I try to watch the amount of sugary food intake. If i feel I ate too much of something I'll run to log it in to see where I am.

Hey, I feel the same ladies, sometimes tracking especially on a cheat day does not get done. I was also on vacation for a week and totally lost track of my daily input even for my workouts. I'm back at work now so, today it was like clock work. I really need to invest in a nutibullet to help me with my veggie intake.

ladies I have to be honest, this life style is hard as much as I want it it's really hard.

It can be hard. I find I eat much better at work or when I have pre-prepped all food for the week. Using snack zip lock bags are the best. great for portion sizing. Sandwich ziplock bags are great for prepping green smoothies and makes it easy for grabbing to take with you for the rest of the day.
