Was wondering if creatine would benefit me? Any ladies use it? What are your thoughts? I am lifting at a deficit right now?

i started taking 5 grammes of it daily a few months ago. dk if it's making any difference on the strength/endurance level, but it does seem to help a lot with keeping my muscles hydrated.0

I took creatine while lifting in a slow bulk this past winter. I really can't say whether or not it helped substantially. I guess apparently it DOES help retain water in your muscles, which may allow you to perform better. More like you may be able to swing an additional rep or two in a given set, or maybe up your weights just a tad faster. It may not seem like much, but I think what most supporters like is looking at the long term. Every extra rep, multiplied by X sets per week, then per year...you get more volume lifted over the long term, and may see progression just a bit faster.
But it's not some miracle thing that will turn you immediately into a beast. It's a supplement that helps your muscles do some things that help your lifts, a bit each day, with more volume additive over the long haul.
For me, it made me feel bloated and not hungry. It affected my appetite in that I didn't want to eat for several hours after I took it with my morning smoothie. Which may be good if I wanted to continue losing, but it affected my goal of bulking. So I gave it up mostly because I didn't like how it made me feel.
Now....I'm on a cut, and it's actually been challenging to get into the losing mode again. Maybe I should pick it up and use it given that it makes me not want to eat!0 -
Thanks for the info ladies0

I used it for a few months but found no noticeable difference in my work outs except bloating.0

I use it. I actually just took a three week break from it and have been back on it for three days. I can feel a difference in my strength and energy already. But I mix it with a pre that I had also been taking a break from. I've never noticed a problem with bloating.0
