How does MFP diary + Fitbit diary work together?

I will try to make this my last question of the day on fitbit. If I sync these 2 together, will the diaries sync as well?

MFP will sync the calories you eat to Fitbit. It doesn't go the other way, so log your food in MFP.

MFP sends aggregate meal data to Fitbit. Fitbit does not send any food to MFP.

Put your food into MFP. Sync your fitbit to the fitbit app. If you have MFP and FitBit connected FitBit will "see" your calories from MFP and compare them to what you've burnt, and MFP will "see" the calories burnt from FitBit and make adjustments to your calorie allowance.

You can edit your meals in MFP.
Go in and change the servings of something already there.

WorkInProg I get what you are saying; at times I want that functionality also. What I do if I want to create meal that is similar to one I have already saved, is to go to a day in the future add the meal I want to change, make the changes and save with a new name. If I know I will never use the old meal I just delete it. More steps than just changing a meal and giving it a new name, but on the IOs app it is not that bad.

No you can't. You would have to re save it. You can't add anything or delete it, or edit the name. This is an important feature for me because I make a different meal plan every couple of weeks and save them under specific meal names. It would be nice if I could just tweak them every once in a while when I need to instead of creating new ones.

You mean Personal Meals then, not the Lunch, Dinner meals.

You can still accomplish what you are talking about.

But - you enter a meal for a ... meal - and then you can copy it to any other day.
If on that new day you tweak it now - you can change the items in it, and then use function to create a new meal name.
