Starting Weight Sept. 12th ~~ Post Here

It's quickly approaching. Our starting weigh in is very important, it is where we come to terms with where we are at and where we want to be. I would encourage you to also take measurements as those change quicker than weight loss. Drink lots of water, stock up on healthy snacks and food. Make this your lifestyle change, not a DIET. Know that you can enjoy anything in moderation and make sure you exercise. If you are not comfortable telling us your weight, just post your weight loss. Remember this is your journey and it has to work for you. I will be posting lots of fun things to do through out the challenge, I hope you join in and play along, this can be fun and it all is centered around retraining ourselves on how we eat and live.

I'm not going to be able to weigh myself tomorrow because I don't have a scale. I just started a new job so it will be at least a few days before I will have extra money for one. However I am pretty certain that I know my current weight. I also know that if I weigh in at 200 or less by Christmas then I will have gotten close to 20 pounds lost.

I'm normally a Tuesday weigh-in, but I'm traveling for the next week, so I won't be able to do it this come Tuesday. Hopefully my next weight will be about the same when I get beck next weekend, but I always seem to go up a little with water weight. Here we go!!

My high weight was in the low 190s. I got down to 158-159 with MFP and kept it for a while. Then I stopped logging my food (big mistake), started eating more, and over the last year have slowly gone back up to 182.2. Hoping to get back on track with this challenge.

Iam currently traveling and will be until Sept. 23 so this will be a struggle. Finding healthy options while in a car or living out of a hotel is crazy especially while traveling with others who seem to think pizza and chicken are the main food groups.

I hope it's ok if I join. I don't have 20 pounds to lose (about 12) but I need some accountability. I have been losing the same few pounds and gaining then back plus a little more for a long time now. So tired of the yo-yoing. I just wanted some accountability and support . I figured the Christmas goal was plenty of time for me to lose what I need to, while also doing it at a steady and healthy rate. I am 41 and have 4 children.
