I have to agree that this group is a bit stagnant in its discussion ability. So, what can a person say to stir things up a little? Has anybody participated in a triathlon this year? Or a marathon? Or a 1/2 marathon? How'd it go? How'd you place? Where was it held? Give us some details and highlights. Swap some tales of blood and guts.

I did my first Marathon in May this year at Green Bay. I didn't do well but I finished. I plan to do the same race in 2016. Other then that I have been participating in smaller 5Ks0

Way to go, girl!
I did the G.B. (full) marathon in 2006 and "officially" finished last. My name is the last one on the results sheet. There were people who finished after me, but they quit taking times down after 7 hours, 30 minutes. My time was 7 hrs., 17 minutes and 30 seconds. You know when you go through Lambeau field they don't want you to deviate off the paved area: I ducked under the yellow taped off area and rolled on the grassy playing field. There was no one in there to tell me not to.
The great thing is you finished. The race you won was with yourself!!!
