That being said, share your NSV's here guys,
Tell us how your old colleague thinks you look way slimmer.
Tell us how you were able to play run and tag with your kids without getting out of breath.
Tell us how you took straight 5 flights of stairs and you did not need to stop to catch breath.
If you have dropped a pant size or if you're able to fit in to old tee.
This is the thread to share it on
Remember, Every single day is a success. And realize, you're a beauty!

It's wonderful to see the scale go down and clothes fit better (I'm particularly liking buying new clothes now) but the REAL feeling of success is when medical issues are improved or resolved. Congratulations Margaret!!! I can identify. When I started this journey in March of this year I could have been diagnosed as diabetic. All my numbers indicated that was the case. My doctor knew I was starting a weight loss program through the clinic so she held off and said we would recheck the numbers. Fast forward 8 months and I'm no longer at risk, in fact I'm not even in the pre-diabetic range anymore. Feels pretty darn awesome!0 -

Today's non-scale victory: I have advanced osteoarthritis in my left hip from carrying around all that weight all those years... When I first started this weight loss program I thought perhaps I would be able to put off hip replacement surgery by loosing the weight. While it has helped tremendously in so many different ways the damage is too far gone and I'm scheduled for surgery in early January.... BUT WAIT.. you say... HOW is this a victory? I CAN'T WAIT.... I am so anxious to have the range of motion and flexibility back in my hip so I can do all the things that I now could do.. ride a bike, kayak, hike into the Red Rock Cannon of Utah..... that feels like a victory to me

No plans last night, just an evening on my own once the kids were in bed, I did not snack or have anything to eat that I hadn't planned. This is a bad habit I have got into so feel really pleased I managed to stay on track0

My skin has looked so much better since I have started to regularly drink water.0

I'm back to the beginning again but I did make some really positive changes in my life while I was putting all my weight back on! I don't use any artificial sweeteners. I VERY rarely drink soda - maybe once a month or less. I kicked the Klonopin to sleep habit. I have become very aware of contents of beauty products, especially skin cream. I drink plenty of water.0

It's so wonderful to read about your NSV. You are inspirational
My own this week is that I actually can see my collarbone again. It was "Hello, where have you been hiding for all these years" - moment. LOL
It might seem to be very insignificant compared to all of you who have improved your health so you don't have to take medicines anymore, but a big thing for me.0 -
Yesterday my husband asked me to help him get a tile saw up into the garage attic. I was able to get myself and the base of the saw (roughly 2' x 3' and ~30lbs) half way up the ladder and then push it over my head with one hand so he could grab it and pull it into the attic. I'm pretty sure that would have been a disaster a month ago.0

Although the scale is not moving I can fit into my size 12!! It's been 14 year since I've been able to get into that size :-)0

We had a retirement party at work today and I totally skipped taking a piece of cake.
And it was EASY to say no!0 -
