The weigh in

how often do you weigh yourself and why? I'm just curious what others are doing.

    Once a week, I think any more is discouraging (you go up and down throughout the week) and any less is demotivating. I want to know that the scale is doing something!! :)

    Same. I weigh on Monday morning before I go to work. I tried weighing more often but I drove myself crazy. I may jump on it in the middle of the week if I had a gain, but for the most part it is just once a week.

    I weigh in on Sunday morning once a week, because weight can take at least a week to show real changes I think.

    After watching Dr. Oz and accountability show I weigh every morning and that's working for me. I know it fluctuates a few pounds but if I'm really up it gets me back on track. His thought is to be accountable everyday.

    I weigh myself everyday, but I only record it on my weigh-in days which are my rest days.

    I weigh myself the first and last day of each month. Just to get a baseline

    I weigh in weekly on Thursday during a weight loss group I participate in at work.
