Thanksgiving Week Challenge Check-In Thread

I know it was mentioned that we would start our first official weekly check-in/challenge thread next week, but with the holiday week I thought I could use some extra accountability.
So my personal challenge this week is to still workout despite the craziness of dealing with family for the holiday.
I have now told other people, so I must stick with the plan.
Anyone else want to jump on this mini-challenge with me?

I'm in I will work out too. But mine is a wee bit different I have to work the holiday and was feeling cranky about it so I will work out so I don't tell anyone off.0

Sounds good to me! Thanksgiving will be pretty low-key for me since much of my family is out of town, but my goal is to transform my guest room into a War Room for my treadmill being moved on Monday! Need to clean the windows, maybe put up some motivational posters and make it as inviting as possible.0

I plan to go for my daily walk this Thanksgiving as well.0

@KrisM111 I have my treadmill in my living room I usually use it when my husband is watching something I don't care to watch.0

I have my treadmill in the garage holding a stack of boxes. I guess I should challenge myself to get it into the house and start using it when I go back home next week.0

Me too i worked out before going to work which was good as I am beat now. Just need to do the same tomorrow.0

I'm in on the workout challenge. I will be at the gym first thing tomorrow! My gym is open until noon.

I got my walk in, caught the first half of a local (Watertown-Belmont, MA) Thanksgiving football game, and am now ready to go to church with my daughter, son-in-law, and new grandson. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!0

Taking a walk around ENC campus (where my daughter works) and then walking from store to store to see what I can't afford this season. Just a weekend away from returning to my real life.0

Hi everyone, I've got my garbage bags in hand, ready to start hauling stuff out of the guest room. Donation truck scheduled. My OH calls me an anti-hoarder. Once I get it into my head that I'm "cleaning out" everything that isn't nailed down is in jeopardy of being thrown into the donation box. I find it very cathartic.

Hi everyone, I have been working but made it to the gym this morning for another hour of cardio. Did not get to the gym yesterday, I justified not going in my head for some reason:(. Just going to keep trying to make it there daily. How's everyone else doing?

Congrats on your hour of cardio! I did better on Food today than on Exercise. It was raining, and I didn't try very hard to come up with an alternate plan. I'll have to do better tomorrow.0

I exercised bright and early for an hour then I covered another shift at work. I keep taking all the shifts at work cause all of a sudden the hours get cut but I'm getting exhausted.0

My goals for the next week are to eat better and log all my food as well as get in some practise on my Judo falls. I keep procrastinating on practising as I can't get it right so I get frustrated. I am also scared of getting hurt, especially the knee that recently had surgery, but the point of practising the falls is so you don't get hurt when you get thrown, which happens often as I can't get the throws right either, so my opponent normally throws me before I throw them. I am on leave this week so I will be able to get in lots of training, I must just focus on eating properly!0
