Not really sure how to start this, but thought maybe we could introduce ourselves & talk about our goals? I'm Corrie from the Eagan area. My goal is to lose about 20lbs before I start training for the Eau Claire marathon. My primary motivation for losing weight is to prevent injury and to increase my speed. I would like to lose the weight by making dietary changes that I can life with long term. I know I feel best eating a plant based diet, after trying a bunch of other plans, so I think this may be my ultimate goal. My issue is my addiction to junk food (chips, chocolate, you name it.). (Funny thing is, I didn't crave junk eating plant based, but I would go out with friends (yes, I'm blaming peer pressure) and I'd fall of the wagon. This time, I'm going to try and take it one day at a time and not look at it as all or nothing. Right now my focus is on no dessert per FB challenge. Would love to hear, if anyone else is interested in vegetarian/plant based eating?

Hi, my name is Amanda and I live in Farmington with my husband and 2 dogs. My goals are to work out more, I don't like putting a specific number of times per week because I stress when it doesn't happen and to eat better. I lost almost 40lbs back in 2011 for our wedding following weight watchers. Since then I have lost my mom and have had 2 miscarriages that have added half of that weight back on. I stress/boredom eat a lot so I'm really trying to focus on good snacks with protein rather than just what's in the cupboard0
