John, when did you start the seeds?

I've been having some lower back issue recently so trying to take things easier, my workout has been slipping because I have some Christmas projects to finish but my eating has been good. I will try to get in more workouts.

And my foster came back, the adopter somehow did not think to tell me that he is caring for his 97 year old father who lives a mile away from him. Had I known that, I would've said no and told him to think about adopting older dogs. Well after 2 weeks he realize that he can't which I completely understand. Also the wife is not a strong pack leader, I knew that but I knew the husband is a solid leader. Well Lucas knew that too and he is all nice when the husband id home but rambunctious when he alone with the wife. Plus a few new "issues" that indicates that he had no clear direction in the household. I overestimated the adopters and underestimated Lucas. I take pride in the fact that we've only had one return prior to Lucas because I vet the adopters. So This is just another lesson that I've learned and I will apply my new knowledge to all future adopters ;)

Happy Wednesday Folks, The opportunities to excel are everywhere!

Heron- We plant using seedlings and we try to get them in on Thanksgiving week but there's a lot of latitude with the timing. Cabbage takes about 60 days to maturity from a 1inch seedling, Onions about 75.
Getting the Foster Back is a bummer but a lot better than the alternative. It's a blessing that they realized the situation was bad for Lucas and did the right thing. Hope your back is doing better soon.
