Good morning everyone and Happy New Year!!!
Welcome to our new group for 2016!
Yesterday we wrapped up the previous group and I have nothing but appreciation for all those who made it through till the end. We will post the graduates lists on both groups because we need to celebrate them!!!
Let's get down to business!!!
In the next few days, our Google spreadsheet will go live and we will all enter our names and current weight along with the weight loss goal. Throughout the challenge, we will have 10 milestone for updating our weight and seeing our progress :)
Today we can start to lay out a plan for the wonderful accomplishments we want to achieve during the next 100 days.
Here is my list:
1. Continue doing chin-ups and push-ups daily until I get to 5 consecutive chin-ups and 40 push-ups
2. As soon as #1 is accomplished start working towards 5 pull-ups in a row. If this happens in the next 100 days, start working towards my first muscle-up.
3. Test out max Squat and Deadlift. Hope they are as good as last year.
4. Continue my current training program.
5. Grow a behind worthy of a rap video ( I know it's vain but after all this time I'm inclined to be specific)
6. Abs, I have them and I wanna finally see them better in al their glory

These are some of my wishes for the next 100 days.
The last few days were a bit hectic in my life and today I want to relax a bit. I think I need some yoga to loosen up all the tension accumulated throughout the holidays :) Today's plan is to stay within calories, do my sets of chin-ups and push-ups, go for a walk, hit the gym or go ice skating, drink a gallon of water, eat lots of protein and sleep good.
Let's make this first day fabulous!!!!
I want to hear from you all about what you hope to achieve in the next 100 days!

Hi all of you amazing people. I love reading your goals. Great ideas. On Monday, I turn 49, and I have told my mom and my kids that, at 50, I plan to be in the best shape of my life. So, I have a full year. For the next 100 days, my goals are:
    1. No binging (thank you to the person above who posted about that, brave and inspiring to me)
    2. 21 Day fix workouts daily
    3. Trade facebook time-wasting with yoga workouts on My Yoga Online
    4. (maybe most important) When I catch myself in negative thoughts, gently bring myself back to positivity-- like guiding a puppy to sit down. (a yoga teacher once gave me that imagery for my wandering mind during meditation, and I love it, because it makes me remember to be patient with myself, like I would be with a puppy.)
    5. Log food daily on My Fitness Pal

    For me that's a lot. : )

Good luck to all of us!

My goals for this challenge are:
Lose 5lbs - that would take me under 130lbs, a place I barely remember ever having been
    10,000 steps minimum every day
And for January, no alcohol. This will be difficult but I'm really going to have a go

Good luck everyone with your goals.

I'm weighing in for the first day of the year at 205.8 Ibs. I weighed in on December 28, 2015 at 210 Ibs so having a loss in 2016 is great news for me. It's a horrible milestone for me, somewhere I never wanted to be but I've reached the 200 Ib mark on December 28th. I don't want to be in that spot for long...lol.

My goals for the first 100 days of 2016:

    1. Walking to and from work. It's 3.2 miles each so I'm going to get in 10,000 steps easily! In which I haven't done before.

    2. Keep track of calories stay in the 1200 calories range. I haven't been doing this in AGES, I guess that's how I came to the 200 Ib mark...lol

    3. Do a workout video one a day

    4. Keep track of water intake. Do at least 64 oz of water
