Which app do I use once they are synced up? They have different calorie intakes for my fitness goal.

I would recommend using MFP for logging food and Fitbit for logging activity, then syncing the two together. I hate the fitbit food log, and the way it calculates calories never makes sense to me.0

I agree. I use fitbit to log all exercise except swimming and cycling. I use MFP to log all my food plus swimming cycling and other activities that can't be measured with Fitbit. Then once both apps sync they both update with correct information. Hope this helps.0

Yes. Fitbit for exercise (I log all exercise in Fitbit, as it is thought to do better estimates than MFP) and MFP for food and calories remaining. For more, read the FAQ found in the stickies.
