I definitely try to keep at or under my calorie goal and exercise when I can.0

One of mine is not to deprive myself. If I am too strict on myself, then the next time I have a "day off" I'll take advantage of it and binge eat all those foods I felt deprived of. If I want dessert or to go over my calorie goal I just watch my portions. For me this makes it a more realistic lifestyle change.0
