I had a good week diet-wise and am settling into my new routine. I was very happy to see the scale move for the second week in row. Feels like it's been a long time.

    Today's goals:
    1. Run/walk
    2. 5-minutes breathing/meditation work
    3. Drink 12 glasses of water
    4. Keep the chocolate to a minimum

    Have a great day, everyone!

    Good morning everyone!!!
I had an excellent day yesterday; I'm not sure what I did but by the end of the day I was so tired, I even forgot to close out my diary :)
Today it's time to do it all over again :) must get more protein, stay on point with calories, walk, drink water and do my workouts
    Let's have a fabulous Friday!!!

I did not do as much exercise yesterday as I thought I would. But, I stayed within calories, and I got on the scale this morning, and was pleased with one and a half pounds down. (finally!) Also, I feel strong.
Today's goals are: workout at the YMCA on the spinning bike, stay within calories and do yoga.
Also: I have read that many of you struggle with chocolate urges like I do. I wanted to tell you about something I have found that really helps. I make a protein shake with frozen fruit every morning, and I put raw, unsweetened dark cocoa powder in there. The sweetness of the fruit (plus a little agave nectar) makes the chocolate feel very decadent. And it's really healthy.

Yesterday - Stressful push to finish maintenance around beach house. No beach :(
Today - Travel day is done. Back home. Tomorrow back to the scale. A little tentative but my clothes do not feel bad.

Stopping eating and finishing up my tracked water intake...12 Cups!!! It's cold!
