Question about logging activity..

So I went for a walk earlier and I logged in on MFP and noticed that the same walk I input is also on Fitbit along with the statistics that Fitbit calculated. Do I need to log my exercises on MFP or does the Fitbit already account for that on it's own? I don't want to have it show 2 separate activities for the same walk. Hope that makes sense!

If you have the accounts linked, you don't need to log it on MFP - that will end up double-crediting you for the calories you burned! It won't show up as an activity on MFP, it'll just be included in the calorie burn that gets brought in from FitBit.0

Ok got it! I better remove it then so I don't think I burned more than I thought. Thanks!0

Actually, it shouldn't give you double calorie credit because as long as you enter the start time and duration the numbers from MFP will overwrite the data that Fitbit collected. However, Fitbit's estimates should be better, so you don't want to do that.
I would recommend reading the FAQ found in the stickies. It explains this, and a lot more. Here's a handy link: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10098937/faq-syncing-logging-food-exercise-calorie-adjustments-activity-levels-accuracy/p10 -
Thanks for clarifying that, NancyN!0
