    Good morning!

I had a good day yesterday. Hit my goals. Today might be tough because we're going out with my parents, which means two things: 1. restaurant food, which is always a guesstimate even if the restaurant has nutritional info and 2. less time to get my steps in when I get home.

To combat #1, I'm leaving some extra calories for dinner tonight. To combat #2, I'm going to try to get more steps in during the work day. It's really tough at this job for me to get up and move around. I'm just so busy that the time flies by and before I know it, it's lunch time. I think I need to set a timer...

    Goals for today:
    1. stay within calories
    2. 12k steps
    3. strength training

I actually just set silent alarms for my fitbit to remind me to get up and walk a little. I set one in the morning and one in the afternoon, so my fitbit will vibrate and remind me. I used to have that set when I first got a fitbit 3 years ago. I just remembered that you can do that.

Today: stay within calories, arm workout (done), YMCA after work, yoga.
NSV- yesterday, I put on a pair of jeans that I was sure would be tight and they weren't! Such a nice feeling. Have a great day, everyone!

    Good morning everyone!!!
Yesterday was a fantastic day in the end, calories were good and my workout felt fantastic. I really needed some iron therapy after the horrible ordeal I went through. I was contacted by scam artists from Europe who impersonated local authorities and told me my brother was involved in a severe accident and was in critical condition. They played a good scenario including someone pretending to be my brother who was crying and mumbling... They went on explaining how I needed to help pay for a specialized surgery at a private hospital. The moment they mentioned "Western Union" I started feeling great because I realized it was a scam.... I asked them to call me back in 10 minutes and called my brother's cell. When he answered I started crying, I really scared him because he didn't know what's going on. We figured everything out in the end but those 15 minutes of terror when I believed the worst had happened really took a toll on me.
Today is a new day and I'm ready to enjoy it. It's a rest day for me so all I have to worry about is covering the basics. :)
Let's make it a fabulous Thursday!!!!

Wow so glad to hear just a scam but these scam artists need to be held accountable. They could give someone a heat attack! Ugh.

So happy the story was not true!

@danelutza19 I work in customer service and am a western union agent we get so many people sending money and trying to convince them to please call the family member to make sure it's not a scam it's heart breaking as they're fighting you saying this is important. You are like please call and make sure we had one older couple who had already sent over 10k in 3 days and finally we said no you have to call your son and they were adamant but when they did they were like now what and then it's like ok now we get the police and the fraud line but they never get their money back. It's a horrible feeling.
