Mid-week #1 Please Read

How's everyone feeling midway through this first week? I'm sore from a lot of shoveling here in the upper midwest (US). Doing well with calorie intake and mostly sticking to my exercise plan.
I wanted to touch base about a couple of things. Mostly, I want to be clear that I am tracking everyone's weight. After weigh-ins each Sunday, I'll post the standings for each members % body weight lost. This makes it very important that everyone use the Weigh In threads for the appropriate week. I'm not sure I have everyone on my spreadsheet yet. If you don't see your name on the list below, please speak up here or go use the Weigh In thread for this week so I know to add you. If there is *** next to your name, it's because I don't have a starting weight for you, so please speak up or go weigh in. Thanks everyone! I really excited for this group and for the friendly competition here. Good luck to everyone, and remember to help keep each other motivate.

Awe yeh baby! Game time!!! Its a win win competition!
To be honest.... I'm sore as heck. Started back running on Tuesday and my knees hurt. Ok it wasn't running... it was more of a waddle jog, but you get the idea.0 -
I'm writing this here and then on my thread when I weight in just to give a tip. 1) upping water intake is the key however do not over drink. Will make you sick as I have learned. Was drinking what I should for my weight but made my dizzy and stomach sick. 2) don't eat way below recommend calorie intake. I was cutting 500 to 600 below recommended. I lost weight however it was in muscle and not fat. Body mass was the same in weight even though I lost. So make sure you have enough protein and don't cut way below cals. Maybe 200-300. Just my advice from my trainer today. Good luck everyone.0

I cannot believe the first week of Feb is almost over already! Sad news this week, hip pain led me to my PT and I am not permitted to run for a few weeks. Just when I was starting to get my run on. Oh well, he did allow swimming and biking so thats where I am for now. Not as convenient as now I have to drive to the gym, 30 min away, but I am making it work. I hope the scale is kind to me this week. I have been working hard exercising and with sticking my nutrition plan. My friend is visiting this week and that always seems to make me retain water weight but ho hum... Trust the process and remember weight loss is not linear!! Hugs to all!0
