Is there a way to turn steps off on the FitBit Charge HR?

It's the default tracker and used to rank you in the leaderboard. I don't care about steps. I only wear my fitbit for part of the day, during workouts and sleep. So I'm always at the bottom. I'm using it to track my heart rate and my workouts. I don't care about steps. Any way to turn off the steps or have it rank me by other criteria?

Tbh I doubt it - tracking steps is really it's main purpose.

I believe you can turn off the steps tracking via the Fitbit dashboard.

In your Fitbit app select edit and on the left side you can uncheck what you don't want to be displayed.
