Feminizing/masculating diets, bunk or what?

There are tons of diet plans on the web that claim you can alter your gender appearance by what you eat without medicinal strength hormones. Some of the feminizing recommendations advise to deprive the body of zinc and or protein, while some ftm plans say to eat as much meat as humanly possible. My favorite pseudo sciencey bull-*kitten* tip is how saw palmetto is recommended as a testosterone blocker for mtf's and a "male sex hormone booster" for ftm's . So, do you guys (& "galz and whatever) do any "home remedies" like this? do any of you swear by it? do any of you think your only gonna change with a doctors note and some of that sweet hrt? (I don't know a lot about the masculating tricks, but I've read up on the feminizers. I think its dangerous to deprive your body of zinc and protein. those things only reduce testosterone and the like because your making your body so ill that it can't keep up)

    I've never heard of this but it's an interesting concept. I'm a cisgender femme lesbian and I used to follow a paleo diet which was really high in animal protein and I noticed no masculinizing effects, more recently I've followed a nearly vegan diet and again no impact.

    Bunk. Please do not deprive yourself of macronutrients and/or micronutrients in order to feel/look more feminine or masculine. The only effect it will potentially have is malnutrition.

    I've been looking for foods to block testosterone funnily enough but it's not going to happen.

    I've been doing alot of "wishful thinking" lately

    Absolute load of crap... I'm a transguy... and before starting T i looked into so many diets/supplements to look more 'masculine'... They're basically just money making schemes that are preying on vulnerable and desperate people :/ personally the biggest load of crap aimed at transmen i found was "Natural Transitioning" which had you on so many different supplements and cycles it was ridiculous :'D
