Made this recipes this past week-end. This is very much what I consider to be an "old-fashioned recipe" with an "old fashioned flavor/taste". It combines the flavors of blueberry with steeped licorice tea. I does not have a strong berry OR licorice favor and I honestly have nothing else taste-wise I can even begin to compare it to.

            Not scary at all and I can say this with certainty having tried it firsthand. lol But seriously, what exactly about this recipe is scary to you?0

            Maybe I looked at the wro g pctur it was black?e.

            Oh I understand now. Yes, the picture that went along with the recipe does show an end product which was black In color; however, mine turned out more of a dark purple color because of the blueberries for what it's worth.0
