New knee

I got the radiology report to my MRI today and it was not pretty. It's a mess in there. So after I got the report (thank god for patient portals) I called Mayo Clinic because they said they were going to get back to me this week and they didnt. That's a sure way to piss me off. But then I got a call back from a doctor. My main question was where do we go from here. He talked about all of the conservative measures. And I told him I'd been through that already and why should it work now if it didn't work then. So the next step is surgery. I'm getting a new knee on April 29th! I'm scared and excited at the same time.

Oh wow, so by the date you wrote this your surgery date is just around the corner. How are you doing? I'm finishing up with PT day after tomorrow. Don't be afraid, it'll be the best decision you ever made. It's such a freedom to have a new knee that you know won't let you down, won't give you pain etc. I had one done in Oct and the second one done early Feb of this year.
I can do things I've not been able to do in years, Take good care and do all your PT!
