Hello my friend
I've been sporadic on this site since about 2013. One of my goals now is to get to where I was when I started. Its interesting to look back because I can see the gradual increase in my weight, although its not a whole lot, its enough to put the breaks on and go in reverse. As most of you know I had weight loss surgery almost 8 years ago. However, although I am a medical success (50% of my excess weight), I am not really a success because I am still obese, just not as much (lol), I never reached my personal (healthy) weight. I'm determined to get as close to that as possible by my next birthday.
So I'm in for the long haul... I'll be looking to our leader... keep giving us challenges to work, weekly and/or monthly.
Side thought: I'm in forever!0 -
Then let's start here and now Sue and the rest of you MCF'ers!
1. There is no pressure except the pressure you put on yourself to reach your individual goals! This is important for you to realize because we have different body types and health issues. So don't look at everyones goals and achievements as something you have to do exactly the same! But something you need to do at a pace you can handle to see changes, however so slight in yourself.
2. Log your food intake and be true to your self!
3. WALK DON'T RUN IF YOU CAN FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES TO AN HOUR FOR 1 MILE+ AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK!
(More when you can)
4. Get the smart watch to help keep you moving!
For me, The last 4 suits I bought in 2012 all hang off my body and have to be taken in or buy smaller suits! The same tux with measurements I rented for the SAG Awards last month the pants where tighten to the max and still sagging on my hips for The Academy Awards this past Sunday. It's those little rewards that lets you know you are reaching your goals!
So come on Fit For Life Motley Crew, Let's really DO WHAT IT DO!

I'm with you Tony... No pressure, that's why I told myself... "I can deviate, but I cannot quit!" I think I can see a slight difference in my body and in the way my clothes are fitting. I don't like my clothes touching me, I like them loose.
Try this Tony, if you're not already doing it. Its called deadmills.... moving that treadmill under your own power as fast as you can for as long as you can. My daughter showed me this last year and I saw a piece on the news about it last night.
