Hip pain while running / exercising

Can someone please offer me some (stretching/alternative) advice? Im finally running 5km consistently but Ive noticed particularly since I moved from the treadmil to outside I get this horrible ache in my right hip area. Only my right side. Used to do static stretching before any run but now I run 3 mins then do stretching then do rest of run. I also started doing groin stretches which has helped significantly but I still hurt/ache the most in the same inside hip spot hours even a day after my run. Im 26, got no bone issues I really wish I could run more than 1-2x a week but Im afraid of really injuring myself with ignorance. Any suggestions most appreciated..

I've only ever experienced the hip pain while running, not after and not for days after definitely. For me it was the different mobility of each of my legs as my pelvis is actually smaller on one side causing my legs to be uneven. I have overcome this through stretching. If it's hurting after running, I would suggest you go to a doctor and just see if they can see anything in an X-ray.0

I used to have the same issue, still do sometimes if I slack off on mobility. Google "Kelly Starrett" or "mobility WOD". His stuff has helped me so much. I've purchased several of his mobility tools, but even without them, he has some excellent stuff, especially for tight hips which I struggle with as well.0

It's it medial glute pain? My husband had it and did some strength exercises and it's helped. Specifically hip triangles0
