Well I'm working every day this week so my goal is to walk every day. We'll see how that goes. I have also decided to let my husband have my closet. I'm not using it and just have totes in it and he needs the space. It's amazing how when you lose weight you suddenly look at things a lot differently. Like it's just a closet just empty space why am I clinging to empty space? Time to move on and make life easier for everyone. Plus when the day comes and my daughter goes to empty the house she will say Gosh my father had a lot of Cra*. LOL I want to be the perfect one who has all my stuff organized and deleted. ;)

Very funny post. We have very little closet/cupboard space in my home and my youngest son has two closets in his room. Go figure. Anyways, he has just been accepted as a recruit candidate for our city police dept and needs room to hang uniforms and suits needed for school. I finally moved out dresses from his second closet, some that I have not worn in let's say more than a few years. A couple fit me now but most are two sizes too small. I'm not sure why I was hanging on to them or the closet space. It's kind of cliche but I am trying to cleanse my mind, body, soul and home this year. It's happening slowly, but it is happening!

I know what you mean, I feel like I'm suddenly making myself a priority which hasn't happened in over 20 years. I think ok wouldn't you rather have 3 things you absolutely love than a whole box of things that are just as my daughter would say Meh. I want to look at things and smile with the memories of why I got it or how I got it not of I kind of liked it and it was good enough.

I am heading to India tomorrow! I have my workout stuff packed and I plan on taking advantage of the gym at my in-law's new apartment community. Take care everyone!

@MrsVelapanur Wishing you the best on your journey.

@2020pinktogo and @Living360 I, too, see this weight loss journey as a "cleanse" in my life. I am feeling good about how my body and my house are doing, things are much more in order, looking and feeling well. I'm traveling this week and feel much more comfortable in hotel rooms and public bathrooms than I ever have. It's so much easier carrying 43 lbs less. I don't feel there are restrictions on what I can or should do. It's really nice. :)

@2020pinktogo - I keep up with my closets too. This past week, with the warmer weather, I just had to transition to summer. I, too, am continuing to pair down what I have and keep only what I love and know that I will wear. After last weeks transition and pair down, I just stood there in my closet and smiled. Less is the new more!

@MrsVelapanur - Have a safe and wonderful trip. We want pictures!

Over the past 2 weeks I have gained about 4 pounds. I'm pretty much at even for 2016. This weekend, I looked at what had been working and what needed to be different now that it's getting warmer.

I have set some new personal goals. March 31st, I want to be at my normal BMI/154 pounds. By April 21st, when my husband and I will be spending a few days in Florida, I am aiming for 149. This will be done by logging, getting enough sleep, avoiding processed foods, staying active and living without alcohol except for the occasional glass of wine with the occasional dinner out.

I lost over 30 pounds in 2015 and here I am with summer knocking on the door. I want to get this done and be able to spend the last part of 2016 figuring out maintenance! B)

You know I like our group and even though it's called Slim by Summer 2016 I don't care if in 2017 we are still talking to each other. We all seem to have the same mindset and goals and I know this is something I will have to stick with to keep the weight off.

By the way Crazy and the new woman hate each other. Both have proclaimed how much they like working with me which I find amusing. Both have told me how they are going to kill the other. I know this is going to end bad I just hope I'm not there when all hell breaks lose.

Slim by Summer 2016 members have helped me stick with it so far, and I still have a long way to go. I am counting on you to be there for years to come. In return, I hope to be there for you.

@2020pinktogo I enjoy hearing about your friends at work. It makes me appreciate my co-workers more.

I hope everyone had a good day. I went way over my calorie limit today. Only a couple more days, and I should be on my way home and back to "the plan".

I tried to be good today. Didn't happen. :) I'm actually looking forward to my "vacation" being over so that I can get back to normal. I do realize how easy it is for me to fall back on old habits (bad habits). It's going to take years to change my ways. I might have to add some friends after all so that someone can contact me and get me back on mfp if I disappear one day. It's been such a great year. I don't wish to go back to the old me.

Don't know what happened to me . . . I was going strong and lately I can be so easily derailed. I am getting my exercise back on track (3 day streak). As for my eating, I haven't been tracking for days. I was at least maintaining but now I have added a few pounds. It is time to knock it off! Springs is here and summer just about 13 weeks away. I should be farther along in my progress and while this stall is disappointing I am happy to have caught myself before much damage was done. It is soooo easy for me to fall back into my unhealthy habits. I don't restrict the foods I eat and believe as long you measure, weigh and log honestly you can treat yourself to small indulgences. Sadly, I sometimes want more than a small serving and I temporarily lost track of what that means in terms of health and fitness. I was involved in another group that slowly faded away so I am happy to have all of you and your support. I enjoy hearing about your daily lives and believe it strengthens our bond.

Things are going great for me right now:
My youngest son was accepted as a police recruit in our city and starts training tomorrow. It was his dream so I hope he passes the next 18 months without incident.
My oldest son is coming home from college today for spring break, he will graduate in June.
Yesterday, St Patrick's Day was my 30th wedding anniversary.

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

@Living360 Congrats on your accomplishments, raising good sons and celebrating your 30th wedding anniversary! These are great achievements. You are succeeding in bettering your health as well. Some days (weeks) are harder than others. We all know that. Getting back on track is your NSV.

I had a great spring break. I enjoyed myself visiting relatives and sight seeing. I felt younger and more active than I have in years. I actually rode on a swing, a merry-go-round, and a seesaw. I also did a lot of walking. I did, however, eat much more than I should have and am hesitant to weigh myself in the morning. But I will, and it will be okay. Starting tomorrow morning I will get back on track. Thanks, all, for your support.

So glad to hear everyone had a great week.

Here is the scoop I have today and tomorrow off BUTTTT....... they are talking to crazy as she made a customer cry. (It's not nice of customer service to make the people cry) ;) So if she walks I have to cover her shifts. All I can say is I'm so happy that I was not there for anything and am not part of this mess that is going down. LOL :)

I searched my stuff and found a bathing suit that fits and may hit the pool today. Hope the suit doesn't fail me and I scar the town forever. Til later

Well I went swimming and the suit didn't fail me granted I know why I wasn't ever keen on it. No padding in the bra area you get my drift. Anyway I figure for the amount I go swimming unless I find a suit I love at a killer price I may as well give the old men a thrill and get the wear out of this one.

Yeah when you're having a bad day at work you'll think but at least I don't work where they make the customers cry. LOL :D
