Excited! My new Alta arrived, now I need to learn more about it :) question- when I sync my device with fitness pal it says not to log exercise and food on Fitbit tracker but, I thought Alta automatically will enter exercise for you on Fitbit ap? Confused...

    This is addressed in the FAQ at the top. Log food in MFP and non-step based exercise in Fitbit for the best results.

    Just got my new Alta and using it with My Fitness Pal. Day 1. Will be Following this thread!

    It may or may not. It did not detect my hour long bike ride but did log my 45 minute walk with the dogs. However, it's only going to transfer back to mfp as a calorie adjustment, not as individually logged activities.
