Born to Run and 80/20 Running are two I hear about repeatedly from other runners. I just put both of those on my Amazon wish list.

    My 2 favorites:
    1. Hanson's Marathon Method - Luke Humphrey - I follow this method, except I run longer long runs.
    2. Eat and Run - Scott Jurek / Steve Friedman - Not a training book. But a great book about Ultrarunning.

If you are interested in marathon training, you could also look on that list, maybe you want to add some of the books discussed there: http://fellrnr.com/wiki/A_Comparison_of_Marathon_Training_Plans

A running book I have read and liked:
    Non-runner's Marathon Trainer- David A Whitsett ISBN-13: 978-1570281822
(--> I read it without any intention of following that training plan. But I liked the way it's sturcured: but every week of training, there's first a description of that weeks training, then it focusses on one piece/topic of running advice, like discussion on stretches, mental techniques, nutrition, and thinks like that), and has comments from people who followed the programme about how their experience with what they leaned that week.

My all-time favourite running book will always be the book that started me running in the first place, but I just had a look - it wasn't translated to English, so adding it to the list wouldn't make much sense.

So I have not read any books on running. I would read an article every now and then online. Since I have got back into running I found myself wondering how to make my workouts better. I have a long term goal to be able to run like I used to or at least close to it. I happened to come across a fantastic book on treadmill workouts. The running program in this book sounds really great and I will trying it out as soon as my leg is healed. I will post my results. It is a book for beginning runners or super marathoners. It should be a must read for anyone who runs and i am sure it will help all those who run on treadmills.

Runners World Run to Lose-by Jennifer Van Allen and Pamela Nisevich Bede- Good Read
Meb for Mortals- by Meb Keflexighi with Scott Douglas- Not done yet i just got it- Impressed so far how new runner friendly it truly is. Wish i would have started it when i first started running....i would have held back and not succumbed to injuries....lesson learned...i did to much to fast.
