Exercise when flaring

What are your favorite low-key ways to keep moving during a flare? I have Myasthenia Gravis, which causes muscle weakness that worsens with repetitive use, so I have to take it extra slow. I've found that stretching helps a lot, and I took a few lessons with a Restorative Yoga teacher to work on establishing some normal movement patterns and body mechanics again.

Can you exercise in a pool? I'm not sure what causes the worse muscle weakness, but when I'm flaring up, the pool is awesome for me because it takes the pressure off my joints. I have some exercises I learned in physical therapy and just do what I can.0

The pool is always a great idea. It's low impact and can get you moving. I wish I had more suggestions but I am not sure how your body handles things. It must be really frustrating. I applaud your strength and your will to keep fighting!0

Also, what about physical therapy? Maybe they would have some good suggestions0

Good suggestions! I saw a PT, they recommended isometrics, which have been helpful to maintain strength as much as possible.
Getting back in the pool is one of my goals! I was a competitive swimmer in the past, and miss my morning laps!0
