Today! So far I feel fine...not nauseous and not hungry. My doctor told me to watch what I ate this month but to not focus on "dieting". Honestly, I really don't feel like eating much. I ate some yogurt this morning and I will eat some lunch because she said that I really do need to eat while on the medication. I am glad to see all of your successes. I hope I can add to them soon!

I haven't changed my foods at all, just the amount. The amount I eat has changed drastically - I get full at 1/3 of my previous intake. I'm down 12 lbs since January 11th.
I was really surprised how quickly Saxenda took effect.

That is awesome! Thank you!0

Ofcourse
To be fair, what I do eat isn't altogether bad - it's just fair. Some good, some not so good. Not much meat, a lot of water, I don't drink calories unless it's hot chocolate. And the only exercise I get is a busy toddler
Good luck!0 -
I'm in the same boat. I haven't really changed much of what I eat and I chase a toddler and a preschooler. The shoveling has helped lately too lol. The calories I drink are in a glass of wine at the end of the day and I am down 13lbs since February 4th.0

I am on day 3. I haven't notice any effects, good or bad. Is there any reason not to jump up to the next dose early?0

I'm on day 3. I have had no effects so far. No good or bad. Anyone go up to the next dose before it was time to?0

Personally, I didn't do that. I did it right on time. Did your Dr leave it to your discretion? I'd stick to the recommended doses and times. Only because even if the first dose doesn't give you side effects, the next dose might, but the one after that might not. That's what I've read. Best of luck, whatever you decide!0

Hi!
I took my time with the dosing. I've been on it since early January and I'm still not at 3.0, but that's the way I handle meds, and I have other meds with other side effects to factor in. But my pharmacist and I always work things like that out together, if for no other reason than for an insurance note because I won't be renewing the prescription on time (you might end up needing it early).
But this is a drug you need to wean from so perhaps a controlled introduction is best so as not to overload the system.
Just my $0.02.

Mine highly encouraged to stay at the dosage until its time to bump up because you want it to be slow and steady so ultimately you reach your goal weight and can come off. She said once I reach where I want to be, I can start lowering doses and come off of it. Hopefully I will have "trained" myself by then portion control and etc.0
