I can't get the guts out of my GBC into the new housing, so I just put the new back on. What one do I use? I know I have to get a new eyeglass screwdriver kit, since some are missing.

Nintendo likes to use security bits quite a bit. I ended up buying http://www.amazon.com/ProsKit-Video-Game-Professional-Screwdriver/dp/B003FL6RXU?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage plus a few others that weren't in the set for opening gamegears. I know the set works, i had to put in a new speaker into a gbc i bought.

Thanks man! I ended up not destroying, but the speaker isn't as loud as it should be, as I was cleaning everything xD.

The soldering connections on those speakers are crap. Mine isn't any better so i'm sure it's going to need redone with a new iron that works hotter. You think that's bad you should see what it's like replacing a screen on a PSP lol. I have to replace all the capacitors in a gamegear too and that terrifies me.
On a side note if you need a new speaker you can find them dirt cheap on ebay as gameboy color or gameboy advance speakers. I got 2 for like 5.00.
