Steps not matching up

According to my Apple watch I logged over 10,000 steps yesterday, but only 7,000 show up in MFP. Any thoughts or ideas on how to correct this and keep it from happening in the future?

My Apple watch doesn't show up steps, and when it does... it's very few. I have downloaded UnderArmor into my watch and I log workouts and steps that way. It's just an idea. I've been up walking around for almost an hour now and MFP shows 0 steps. If you look into your Apple phone, you have a health information link that has a heart. I have it added to my watch as well. It helps me keep up with my daily routine.0

@hablondi change the source to apple watch for steps. I had the same issue, it got resolved.
